Your Gift Makes a Difference
When you give to HomeFirst, your donation goes directly to work—supporting our outreach team, providing essential skill-building workshops for our emergency housing programs, and helping provide the end-to-end services people need on their journey to permanent, stable, and safe housing.
Homelessness is complex. But the solution is clear: when we work together, we can ensure everyone has a place to call home.

Other Ways to Give
Donate by Check
Prefer to give the old-fashioned way? We accept donations by check and credit card. Every gift—no matter how it arrives—goes directly toward helping our neighbors find and maintain stable housing. If you'd like to notify us in advance, or designate your gift to a specific fund, please complete this form.

Give Goods New Life
Do you have a closet full of puzzles, games, and old jackets? If you haven't used it in a year, do you still need it? If it's in good condition, imagine what these things could mean to someone starting over. We accept new and gently used games, clothing, home goods, and everyday essentials—things that turn a room into a home. All donations are tax deductible.

Turning Barriers into Opportunities
When we heard people were refusing shelter because they couldn’t bring their companion animal, we made the necessary changes to accept pets. The result? Many more people came inside.
We often see solutions where others don’t look. To make these initiatives successful, we need the support of donors, corporate sponsors, and compassionate individuals.

A Transformative Work Readiness Program
New Start is a program that transforms lives. It provides program participants at the Boccardo Reception Center with a path toward workforce readiness. People earn a training wage for their contribution to the shelter community, obtain industry certifications, receive application support, and get individualized attention that fosters personal growth.

Help When You Need It
HOPE—Housing Opportunities for Everyone—is there when everything else falls short. This one-time financial assistance fund exists for people who are unhoused or housing insecure and have nowhere else to turn. It can mean the difference between staying on the streets or moving into shelter. Between crisis and stability. Between feeling stuck and taking the next step toward permanent housing. HOPE doesn't solve everything. But it opens the door when it feels like every door is closed.
Give What's Needed Most
Mens underwear, rain ponchos, flashlights, and even dog food. You can support people throughout our programs all year long by purchasing essential items off our wish list. Be sure to include your email in the gift receipt so we can thank you and send a receipt for your tax records.
